Farm AnimalsAt Wild Child, children will get to take part in the raising and caring for farm animals including chickens, cows, and a donkey! What better way to learn how the animal world works than to experience it firsthand!
|
GardeningAt Wild Child, children will participate in growing their own food. Not only does this strengthen their understanding of the world, but it provides them vast opportunities to experience new foods and learn healthy habits!

AdventuresLearning is so much bigger than paperwork! At Wild Child, we see even beyond our vast property and into our community. Throughout the year, children will be able to explore and learn in many settings and through hands-on experiences!

“Children deserve to grow and learn in a place and alongside a force that is as wild and alive as they are.” -Nicolette Sowder
Wild Child is open Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm. We operate on a 52 week schedule!
Our goal is to provide a home-away-from-home for children all the way through upper elementary that will promote outside time, free play, creative thinking, and experience based learning! The center is located on a farm and many of the lessons revolve around hands-on activities caring for the animals, learning how to garden, cooking activities, and nature! We will have a maximum of five children this year which will really allow me to individualize their academic goals and help them grow/learn in their own way. We will also plan scheduled meetups with local homeschool families of the same ages for playtimes and adventures so their circle of friends will be larger than just our program!
